The Founder Galatée Faivre
For 20 years, Galatée Faivre has been at the forefront of evolutions in the wine world; in the beginning, by having contributed to the development of organic wines, then by commercialising "luxury wines" in Asia, and then by conceiving of ranges designed to attract a contemporary clientele: the neo-consumer (feminine, young). |
Born into a family of winemakers, then educated at international schools of commerce, Galatée Faivre specialised in marketing (at Winthrop University, Charlotte, USA, and Sooshow University, Taipei, Taiwan).
In 2002, she created ID VIN , the first external marketing service dedicated to French wines.
She defends wine, in particular against anti-alcohol messages in her first book, in 2006, 'Divine Ivresse' ('Divine |
|
Inebriation'). And in 2008 she synthesised her work method in a second book entitled 'Marketing identitaire, l'ADN de la marque vin' ('Identity marketing, the DNA of wine branding').
Galatée Faivre has commented regularly over the past 10 years in the press and at conferences devoted to marketing, wine packaging, and the application of communication technologies to wine via the Internet... |
